Persona

Fellow bloggers, I know it has been a while, too long in fact for the next post, so here it is.
Following on from last post, getting your Persona ( Branding,Name) what you want to be known as, out to the public on the net, is one of the first things that needs to be done, if you want to be a successful Internet marketer.

To begin you will need to join a few social media sites, as I suggested in my last post. Using these sites well, by posting items, adding friends and connecting to others, people will get to know you, and this will make way for you to have a huge audience to target your products to.

Twitter- this site is great to post short messages on. It is a little like texting on a phone, keep it short and to the point. Messages on this site sometimes beats the media in getting first hand news. You also have a following on here, this will also help with your persona.

Facebook- this site is becoming a place for families and friends to catch up, and let know what is happening in their world. I have found a lot of relatives, both on my husbands and my side, that we had not been in touch with for a long time.

Flickr- this is a photo site where you upload your photo's, and then you can resize them and add them to other sites and blogs. People can also view your pics.

By posting articles/ photo's on these sites, you are getting known on the net, this is your Persona.

All this means is by getting known on the net, will put you in a better position, to market to the public when you are ready.

How to start. I have been a while getting to this point.
Firstly the internet is an exciting place to be these days. With new ideas and technology happening every day, from somewhere around the world, chances are that you are going to be part of this adventure. This excites me.

How to get to a starting point. You have to find a name or persona that you want to be known as. This is how you will get to be known on the net. You can see that I am NannyOne. When you have your identity, then we have to begin to get your name out to the public. Writing Blog's, joining Twitter, Google, Facebook,Yahoo, and many other media sites, will help get you noticed. Then we link our sites, so that it begins to look like a web. By posting a message onto facebook to a friend, if you have your sites linked, then this message appears on your other pages as soon as you have posted it. Hence the Internet Web. Linking is easy, on each media site there is an area where you can link to another if you want.
The world of the Internet Web, is such a fascinating place for people who are looking for something else in their lives.
